New design
AirPods are lightweight and have a snug fit. They have just the right angle for optimal wearing comfort and sound. The stem is 33 percent shorter than second-generation AirPods and includes a pressure sensor to quickly control music or take phone calls.

Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking
The sound is all around you, so that you are completely absorbed in your music, series or film. The gyroscopes and accelerometers in AirPods track your head movements, so it sounds like you're right in the middle of the music or scene.¹

Adaptive EQ
Music is automatically tuned to the shape of your ear. The microphones on the inside detect what you hear, after which the medium and low frequencies are adjusted. So you can hear the details in every song.

Longer battery life
The battery life is one hour longer than second-generation AirPods, and is good for up to 6 hours of listening time² and up to 4 hours of talk time.⁵ With just 5 minutes of charging, you can already have about an hour of listening‑⁶ or talk time.⁷ And with the MagSafe charging case lets you listen and charge for up to 30 hours with compatible MagSafe and wireless chargers.⁸

Sweat and water resistant
AirPods and the MagSafe charging case are water-resistant according to the IPX4 standard, so they can withstand a heavy shower or a hard workout.³

Magical in every way
Set up is easy: as soon as you take them out of the case, they are immediately ready for use. You can automatically switch between your Apple devices. The in-ear detection knows the difference between your ear and other surfaces. Announce Notifications with Siri lets you have your notifications read to you through your AirPods. And with Audio Share, you can listen to the same song or series together, both on your own AirPods.⁴
